“Let’s invest on the youth!” Banners the presentation of Guiginto, Bulacan as they cultivate positive Filipino values with time-honored sayings or “kasabihan.” Messages of hope, perseverance and chasing their dreams are implied in the phrases – “Pag may tinanim, may aanihin,” “Kung ano ang puno ay siya rin ang bunga,” “Magbungkal, magpunla at magdilig” to name a few. The people of Guiginto held on to these beliefs thru the years until they flourished as the “Sentro ng Halamanan” or center of ornamental plants and garden landscapes in the country. These qualities allow them to grow and blossom as they unite to achieve cityhood for their beloved home.
