RESTORE After more than two years of repair work, the Colosseum’s underground passages and rooms are now open to the public. More than eighty building designers, engineers and other experts led the effort to restore the 15,000 square meter space. The verb restore means to return something to an earlier condition by repairing and cleaning it. The adjectival form of restore is restorative and restoration is the noun form.
