"Moana" is the newest Disney live action remake hitting theaters this weekend...but does that make it good? After years of adapting older movies into the live action format, Disney is tapping into a more recent property in the form of the beloved 2016 animated movie. While audiences might go in expecting the core story of "Moana" translated into the live action format, a question that many people are wondering is: will the movie itself be good? And ultimately, the answer is quite unfortunate. In this spoiler free review, I break down the new live action "Moana", its abundance of problems, and explore why this is the shining example of why the live action adaptation craze needs to end.
