【ホンダ トゥデイ】【軽快な走り】これが4ナンバーバン?? HONDA Today 660 JW3 ハミング 4速MT 平成7年式(1995)(走行動画)

Back in the days of the old minicar standards (prior to 1998), Honda had this fascinating 660cc minicar. Weighing in at around 700kg, with a length of 329cm and width of 139cm, it was slightly smaller than the current minicar standard. The Honda Today van grade offered a pleasant ride despite its small engine power: a 660cc SOHC 3-cylinder, 12-valve engine with no turbocharger and a single carburetor. Around the time of the 1990 minicar standard change, the same Today also offered a high-powered, high-performance model equipped with a PGM-FI fuel supply system, as well as a 5-speed manual transmission. However, the model I test drove this time was a JW3 Today Van Humming grade registered as a 4-number freight vehicle, which continued to be sold until 1998, retaining its Showa-era body even after the second-generation model was released. It was equipped with the bare minimum of comforts, including air conditioning, power steering, and power windows, and was only available with a 4-speed manual or 3-speed automatic transmission. While this is an ordinary commercial van, its lightweight body allows you to experience a world apart from today's heavily-loaded, fully equipped minicars.
