Oba Of Benin Appoints Brigadier-General Ehigie Paul Oviasuyi As The Head Of Irokhin Community

His Royal Majesty Ewuare the Second, Oba of Benin, has appointed retired Brigadier-General Ehigie Paul Oviasuyi as the Odionwere (traditional head) of Irokhin Community in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of Edo State, ushering in a new chapter in the community’s leadership. The royal decision was conveyed by the Aideyan of Benin, Chief Uyi Okungbowa, alongside Chief Isaac Oghafua Oyeoba, during a meeting with elders of Irokhin Community at the Oba’s Palace in Benin City. The meeting also provided an opportunity to address and clarify certain misconceptions surrounding the community’s traditional leadership.
