Spelunky 2 - Eggplant Skip Demonstration (1.20.4a)

Theorized by Cloiss in the Spelunky Community Discord, this video demonstrates waking up the Eggplant Child without an Eggplant or a nearby vault. These are the steps for how to do it: 1) Get a Teleporter/Telepack at or before Olmec's Lair 3-1. True Crown can also work, but it needs to be obtained after getting the Clone Gun in Tide Pool 4-2. 2) Get the Ankh. 2a) Store the Teleporter with Waddler if that's what you are going to use. 3) Obtain the Clone Gun in Tide Pool and bring it to Ice Caves 5-1. 4) Get lucky and have the Moai and Waddler's Room generate in the same column, and also have an Idol trap in the level. 5) Get the Idol and place it near the Moai. 6) Enter the Mothership and get the Plasma Cannon from it. 7) Place the Plasma Cannon next to the Idol, which is at the Moai. 8) Clone the Idol, then move the cloned Idol. This will unleash another boulder onto the level. The boulder will crush the Plasma Cannon, causing a powered explosion. The powered explosion will hit the closed entrance to the Moai and explode into the interior of the Moai, breaking a single block that's part of the floor. 9) Get the Clover from the wet fur cave. 10) Kill Waddler and blow up the ceiling. 11) Get your teleporter and line yourself up with the destroyed block in the Moai. Teleport up to teleport 8 blocks + 3 from the vertical save mechanic to make it exactly into the Moai. 12) Wake up the Eggplant Child (and give them your Teleporter if that's what you used) 13) Die. You will use the Ankh and be brought back to the entrance of the level. 14) Leave the level, and the Eggplant Child will follow you into Neo Babylon 6-1. 15) Get Qilin if you got the Tablet from Abzu, or do Qilin Skip to make it to Sunken City 7-1.
