N54 335 E90 VRSF Intercooler Upgrade + MHD Stage 1+

We decided to upgrade the intercooler on the 2009 BMW 335 X drive. The E90/E92/E91 N54 platform is notorious for heat soak with it's twin turbo charged 3.0L inline 6 cylinder enginer. We picked up a larger intercooler from VRSF. This is the VRSF 5" performance intercooler that does not require any cutting of the front bumper and is significantly larger than the OEM intercooler. With the added thermal density of the 5" intercooler we should be able to turn up the boost with our MHD off the shelf tune. An intercooler is highly recommended for cars running Stage 2 or an upgraded turbo setup.
