Why do we need children? Is it worth having children? How has life changed since having a child? Many years ago, I pestered everyone—my mother, my friends—with the question: why do we need children? And I received answers along the lines of, "Children are happiness" or, "How can you even ask such a thing?" Of course, there are those for whom it's a given. That they will have children. Because that's how they were raised. Or because instinct kicked in. I had no instinct before having a child; I was perfectly happy with my boyfriend and myself. Having a child changed a lot in our lives, so today's video is for those who, like me, once didn't fully understand why everyone was so obsessed with children and what they can bring to your life that you don't have now. I'll say it right away. For me, children aren't something everyone should have. I'm sure many people who choose not to have children live equally full and happy lives. And secondly, I think many people are capable of bringing the benefits I'm about to talk about into their lives even without having children. They are capable, but not everyone can. I couldn't.
