The dead trees really evoked the image of the farthest reaches of the world. Similarly, Narawara, with its many dead trees, was a mysterious world. I was hoping to see some animals, and when I reached the tip of the peninsula early in the morning, I spotted a herd of deer. They came right up to me, and I wondered if they were really in the wild.
