#lush #bodybutter #howitsmade Scrubee Body Butter is our super moisturizing, toffee-scented body scrub: it was originally a Mother’s Day exclusive, but you loved it so much that we had to bring it back for good! Genesis and Madu from our manufacturing team are here to show us how these lil’ buzzers are made. We start by chopping up fair trade organic cocoa butter, which has a rich, skin-conditioning texture to really soften you up. Next, we prepare ground almonds and ground coconut shell, which buff away dry skin to leave you super smooth. (No plastic microbeads here!) Then we add a generous helping of local honey to lock moisture into your skin. The finished mixture gets poured into molds to create the Scrubees’ black stripes, and they’re topped up with more cocoa butter to complete our scrubby bees. And that’s how it’s made!
