Actually, Conquest Does Have a Jagen

Jagens---true Jagens, not the Oifeys that remain good for the whole game---are units I get an extremely varying amount of use out of in my own playthroughs. Not because they aren't good, they almost always are, but because I find it most fun to engage with Fire Emblem games by training a wide array of project units to fit into my final team. Jagens are designed to fall off, and thus extremely rarely earn a slot among said teams, disincentivizing their use for some players. Jakob goes against the grain by gaining experience at the same rate as your other units, a choice designed to appeal to exactly those players. Both because of and despite this fact, I have some pretty complicated thoughts on the man, which I hope you'll appreciate in this video. Make sure to check out ‪@Scepti‬'s channel!
