The President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Army Chief of Staff Renovate Bade Elementary School in Mememu Village, Edera District, Mappi Regency through the Yonif 123/Rajawali Task Force MAPPI, SOUTH PAPUA – In an effort to support improving the quality of education in the border and remote areas of South Papua, the RI-PNG Border Security Task Force, Yonif 123/Rajawali, renovated the Bade Elementary School building in Mappi Regency to create a comfortable learning environment for students and teachers. The renovations demonstrate the TNI's commitment to education and help provide more suitable learning facilities for the nation's future generations. The improvements included painting, repairing walls, floors, and other supporting facilities to ensure safe and comfortable learning. The Commander of the Yonif 123/Rajawali Task Force, Lieutenant Colonel Anhar Agil Gunawan, stated that education is one of the main keys to building the nation's future, therefore, the existence of suitable schools is a key priority for the Task Force during its deployment in South Papua. "Through this activity, we hope to provide tangible benefits to school children, so they will be more enthusiastic about pursuing knowledge and achieving their dreams," he said. The community and school officials welcomed the renovation and expressed their gratitude for the ongoing support of the Yonif 123/Rajawali Task Force for their continued presence to assist with various community needs, including in the field of education. The presence of the Yonif 123/Rajawali Task Force not only maintains regional security but also actively carries out various territorial activities that directly address community needs, particularly in supporting educational advancement in Mappi Regency.
