Support independence: https://donorbox.org/decrypterlafrique http://decrypterlafrique.tikerama.com We revisit the case of Achirou Mohamed Adnane of the notorious Agrosources group. For over a year, a Franco-Ivorian consortium has been promising the construction, in Touba, of what would be the world's largest solar power plant, covering 24,000 hectares. A gigantic project, widely publicized, that could symbolize Côte d'Ivoire's entry into a new energy era. But behind this promise, according to Enquête Média, lies a very different reality: a company with limited capital, no land titles, permits nowhere to be found, and a completely different official government project... The investigation even points to similarities with several financial scams already observed in Senegal and Benin. How could a project of this scale have gained such credibility? To analyze this investigation, Fabrice Wuimo speaks with Taki Bouanzi, investigative journalist and founder of Enquête Média.
