Being diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease was the beginning, not the end, for John. His struggle with PD inspired him and others to raise awareness of the illness. This is his journey. Being diagnosed with Early onset Parkinson’s Disease was a life changing moment for John but he was keenly aware to determine whether his life would be controlled by his condition or whether he took the controls himself. An example of his determined, some would say dogged attitude, was to walk from Lands End to John O Groats using a unique untried route. John now spends his time talking about walking and raising awareness of early onset PD but he may have a new plan up his sleeve!
