Lancer l'alerte pour le bien commun | Stéphanie Gibaud | TEDxClermont
Employed by UBS France in Paris, Stéphanie Gibaud refused to obey her employer and suddenly destroy numerous confidential documents. Compelled by French law, Stéphanie had to reveal their contents, which led to the identification of more than 38,000 offshore accounts totaling €12 billion and exposed a vast system of tax evasion and money laundering by an organized group. A former marketing executive, Stéphanie is a French whistleblower. In the summer of 2014, she became a founding member and secretary general of PILA (the International Platform for Whistleblowers). In 2015, she received the Anticor prize during the “Ethics against saucepans” evening. On September 10, 2015, she was nominated for the Sakharov Prize alongside two other whistleblowers, Edward Snowden and Antoine Deltour. / Ex-marketing executive, Stephanie is a French whistleblower.
