Deer Valley Revelator Express (NEW 2025!)

The Revelator Express is the backbone of the Revelator area and services all the terrain there, working in tandem with its sister ship Vulcan. Revelator is one of seven lifts (including five other HSQs) all built by Doppelmayr in the summer of 2025 as part of Deer Valley’s whopping 2,200 acre expansion. Lift-Wise, Revelator is a Doppelmayr UNI-D detachable with E98 chairs with green bails and green springs like the other HSQs in Expanded Excellence. This is the only lift so far in the expansion to feature more than one Canadian Tower (Towers 1 & 10) and even has a regular-supporting Euro Tower (Tower 7) due to the lift line steepness. Between Towers 9 and 10, Revelator crosses under the East Village Gondola, the second instance of lifts crossing each other, the first involving the Town and Payday lifts in nearby Park City. This serves the true point of Park Peak and therefore services the highest elevation of the entire expansion. The terrain directly lappable by Revelator involves a continuous fall-line with high-alpine advanced runs and a handful of easy ways down to lookers right. Revelator provides access to some impressive ridge runs with expansive views including a local’s favorite, Redemption where that and riding Vulcan are required to lap. Revelator is essential to keeping its new and unique terrain alive for the coming future. FUN FACT: Revelator was originally slated to be a Doppelmayr D-Line 6 starting from the bottom of present-day Vulcan with a mid-load station at present-day Revelator, but due to added expenses along with other issues related to practicality, run character and overall reliability warranted the separation into two separate detachable quads along with a few modifications of ski runs in that area. ​​Capacity: 2,400 per hour Ride Time: 4.9 minutes Vertical Rise: 1,564 ft Length: 4,000 ft Towers: 16 Carriers: 86 Design Speed: 1,000 fpm Speed day of recording: 823 fpm Filmed February 28 2026
