This meaningful journey between Najaf and Karbala offers a spiritual experience that attracts millions of visitors. On this sacred road, all conceivable needs of the guests, such as food, drink and accommodation, are met with great generosity and completely free of charge. According to Shiites, walking on this path and serving those who walk is considered not only an act of hospitality but also a sacred act of worship. The sense of solidarity and brotherhood felt at every step makes the Arbaeen walk not only a physical journey but also a spiritual purification. Wadi'us-Salam Cemetery is 25 km long and 6 km wide, spread over an area of ​​917 hectares and is located in Najaf. It occupies approximately 13 percent. This cemetery, which is considered one of the holy places of Najaf, is the home of Hz. It has great spiritual importance due to its proximity to Ali's tomb. According to Shia belief, Hz. Next to Ali's grave, Hz. Adam and the Prophet. There are also the graves of Noah. Also, Hz. Salih and Hz. It also hosts the graves of prophets such as Hud, children of prophets, righteous people and religious and state leaders. Centuries-old burials have been included in the Tentative World Heritage List by UNESCO, and this cemetery is recognized as the only place in the world where burials have continued uninterrupted for more than 1,400 years. According to Shia belief, all souls will gather here on the day of judgment. Since there are no new burial places for Muslims who died in the last hundred years, the cemetery now resembles a city from a distance. Vadi'us-Salam, which has been transformed into cemeteries consisting of several floors, like apartment buildings in cities, is a sacred place where Shiites from all countries are buried. Since there were many more visitors this year, we could not enter the part where the tomb was complete. This area, which is unique worldwide with its size and spiritual depth, offers a deep spiritual experience and keeps alive a tradition and culture that has continued throughout history.
