Porsche 986 Door Leak FIXED! (Wet Door Card Problem)

I noticed something wasn’t right the door cards on my Porsche 986 were getting soaked. In this episode, I track down where the water is getting in and properly fix it before it turns into a bigger (and more expensive) problem. What I cover in this video: • Removing the door cards • Peeling back the inner waterproof membrane • Water testing by pooling water over the door • Identifying the source of the leak • Installing a brand new genuine Porsche membrane • Reviving the door and clamshell seals Water leaks are one of the most common issues on the 986, and if left untreated they can cause serious interior and electrical damage. This is how I diagnosed and fixed mine properly. Another step forward in building a solid, reliable Boxster that’s ready for road trips, track days, and eventually the Nürburgring.
