#bellaprof #gospel #mark "The fulfilled time" in which we are invited to conversion, the moment to seize, is the "kairos", that is, the time in which an opportunity for life is offered, an opportunity not to be missed. The beginning of Jesus' preaching is marked in Mark by the arrest of the Baptist, which is also, literally, a "delivery". Jesus sets out on that same road, the one that will lead him to another "fulfilment", that of the Scriptures - that is, the Passion - leaving behind every other possibility. Moving in this direction and responding to his own call, Jesus "passes" and, passing by, calls others to make the meaning of his life the meaning of their own. Here, some fishermen, men already seriously committed to their work, find the courage to redefine themselves, their bonds and their identity, in reference to the One who crossed their path.
