Mid-Day Turkeys in Mississippi- Public Land

A last-minute trip turned successful in MS. I really have come to love mid-day turkey hunting more than hunting turkeys straight off the roost. At least in my neck of the woods, it seems like they are a little more eager if you strike them mid-day. MS public land is extremely pressured in most places, and it seems like middle of the day can be an escape from the crowds.
