This $1,000 Binocular Has Thermal AND Night Vision
James Reeves is at Austria Arms Action Days 2026 with Christoph from PARD for a look at the new Osprey 4K multispectral binocular. James is heading to Tanzania later this year and has been trying to decide whether thermal imaging or night vision would be more useful for wildlife spotting. The Osprey 4K solves that problem by combining a thermal channel, 4K day and night viewing, and an integrated laser rangefinder in a single binocular. It also supports photo and video recording, removable storage, USB-C charging, and replaceable batteries. At roughly 1,000 euros, it packs an unusual amount of capability into one compact optic
