Phenix Carpet Mills gave us a plant tour which gave us some insight as to how carpet is made. Wow, how cool it was to see the actual carpet factory. Very large machines that take the raw materials and then turn the yarn into carpeting. The tufting machines and how they work were all quite fascinating to say the very least. I never knew so much goes into the construction and production of residential carpeting. After seeing how they make carpet at the Phenix plant in Dalton Georgia, I am very proud of the fact that The Carpet Guys offer a lot of these high quality carpets made by Phenix to our customers.
