Presunto robo de asfalto en la Municipalidad de Asunción

A company denies responsibility for the alleged theft of asphalt from the Municipality of Asunción. Attorney Guillermo Duarte Cacavelos explained that the firm he represents "contracted administratively with a private individual who offered a service that was ultimately provided." He presented closed-circuit television footage from the company's headquarters, noting that the trucks did not display the logo or any mention of the Municipality of Asunción during the asphalt paving work. "We had no indication that this machinery had any connection to the municipality or any public entity."
