Ridge Runners | Performance Clip | Thriller\One Liner | 2018

I play the Truck Driver in the suspenseful feature film, Ridge Runners. This scene I'm sharing may be disturbing for some viewers. I didn't initially audition for Ridge Runners. I had become good friends with Director Hunter West. I reached out to me and asked if I'd be interested in being a part of the film in the role of The Trucker Driver. I said yes. He told me about the scene, which is the setup for the film. The synopsis is about a 12-year-old girl who goes missing and Detective Rachel Willow discovers that human trafficking can happen anywhere, even in her small town. The film screened at a handful of festivals before it picked up distribution through Lionsgate and Indican Pictures. Playing a character like this was a challenge. The young actress was not in my eye line when I delivered my lines. She was sitting with her parents watching them film me. This was her first film and she was very well protected by a solid professional team as I mentioned, her parents were on set as well. Besides being such a difficult character to portray, I had another challenge and it's one that can really stump a performance. The one-liner. I was able to give them a few options but I'd rather have a 10-page monologue than have to deliver one line. It's always the toughest.
