Zante Ep 7 - CAR HIRE in Zante - Kypseli, Amoudi, Alykes, Xigia Beach & Cape Skinari

In the 7th episode, we hire a car and take you up the eastern side of Zante. First we take you to Hermes Rentals in Kalamaki and show you how much it is to hire a small car/quad bike for a few days. Once we have our vehicle, we embrace our freedom by firstly stopping at a special place to us, Vardiola Restaurant. This being the place we tied the knot back in 2015. After a look around here, we move on to Amoudi, a sleepy little greek village resort, walking down towards a small beach. From here we move on to Alykes for a spot of lunch, but first we show you the main street of Alykes with the bars and restaurants within the resort. We stop off at Alykes Beach and try some food at Palm Tree Beach Bar. Once our stomach's are full, we take some time out to relax at Xigia beach. The sea here is a natural spa, containing healing elements from the sulphur off the surrounding rocks. We then drive to the most northern tip of the island, Cape Skinari. Here we visit the lighthouse overlooking Kefalonia. We also take a walk around to the Windmill Taverna, where 2 flour grinding mills have been turned into places to stay.
