Three construction sites in three days – that's our daily routine in civil engineering and earthworks. In this construction site vlog, I'll take you along on three different jobs, each with completely different tasks, but ultimately, the same principle applies: working cleanly, quickly, and moving the construction project forward. On site 1, we were working on an underpass that's being renovated. The task there involved dismantling railings. In the evening, we turned them around, took them down, and removed them so the renovation could continue. These kinds of jobs are often underestimated because they look like "just a quick fix," but in reality, they involve a lot of work and responsibility. On site 2, we prepared a plot of land for a construction project. We removed the turf, cleared away plants and small trees, roughly leveled the area, and prepared it so that construction could proceed smoothly later. This is classic site preparation, which ultimately determines whether the next step on the construction site runs smoothly or not. On site 3, we were working on a crane pad. There, we installed and compacted gravel around the concrete elements to ensure a stable foundation. This compaction work is essential for a secure crane base, allowing the construction project to proceed smoothly.
