Passing by the Austrian lake Plansee we're heading today to the palace built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria - Linderhof Palace. The interior of the palace impresses with its wealth and luxury. Our next destination is the German village of Oberammergau in Southern Bavaria. The picturesque countryside of the village is rightly called the "Alpine Pearl", as each house in the village is a work of art. On the way to Oberammergau we will also visit the Ettal Monastery (Catholic Benedictine Abbey and Pilgrimage Church of St. Mary). It is located in Etal in the south of Bavaria, right along the main highway.
