In the judgment of the Case of Indigenous Communities Members of the Lhaka Honhat (Our Land) Association Vs. Argentina, notified on April 2, 2020, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights found the State of Argentina internationally responsible for the violation of the rights to communal property, cultural identity, a healthy environment, adequate food and water of the indigenous communities.
