So, the camping season begins. Did not prepare much, nor did I prepared to hike much. So I ended up visiting my secret garden. Found a patch of near-perfect turf, under an elaeocarpus tree and by some bushes of cassias, I settled down. There's no commanding view. But it's yet inexplicable joy watching dragonflies dancing over the field, and shadows slowly lengthening, cattle grazing and gentle breeze caressing your face. Just took a nap as my body demanded to miss dusk colours. Brought simple ingredients and only make supper when my belly called for it, making it slowly, taking it slowly. No signal, no phone swiping, digital detox. Woke up to the alarm clocks of birds. Went watching the incessant flow of the little stream, and the dew drops on the petals of cassias, and the trembling of the leaves of the elaeocarpuses. Then slowly made myself a cup of coffee, not to wake my body up, but simply for the smell of it.
