Hidden Attic Airflow Problem While Installing Baffles
While finishing my attic baffle installation, I discovered something unexpected from when this house was built in 1978. A baffle was installed, but there was no vented soffit behind it. Just a wall, and behind it was the open garage. In this video, I continue installing attic baffles, inspect airflow paths, and fix hidden air sealing issues before adding insulation. Proper attic ventilation is critical before blowing in insulation. Just because something looks installed doesn’t mean it’s functioning properly. More air sealing and insulation coming soon.
