RIP Chicago’s founder Walter Parazaider. Colour My World Tribute to him and his flute solo

RIP to Chicago’s founder Walter Parazaider, who was truly one of the kindest and funniest men there was! Here is a montage I made to his most famous flute solo, "Colour My World," which serves as a tribute to Walter, Terry Kath (who he is hopefully reunited with in heaven), and the rest of Chicago who played on this huge 70s wedding and prom hit. This song beautifully featured Walt’s incredible flute playing and Terry’s soulful vocals. Walter was always the ultimate optimist, constantly talking in interviews and predicting hit songs; in fact, he told Jimmy that the flute solo in "Colour My World" was gonna make him famous as soon as Jimmy wrote it! If it wasn’t for Walter, Chicago would not be here nearly 60 years later influencing younger people like me, as it was mainly his brilliant idea to start this "little old rock and roll band with horns." I feel so blessed to have met Walter a few times and to have seen him 10 years ago for his final performance when Chicago was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. One of the last things Walter said in true, passionate fashion was something along the lines of, “Chicago fans, you’ve seen nothing yet, there’s a lot more to go!”—and even though he wasn’t there for the rest of the ride, he was absolutely right! Thank you, Walter, for colouring our world for so many years, and prayers go out to your family! #chicagotheband #walterparazaider #terrykath #chicago #colourmyworld #70s #flute #oldies
