Fenland BusFest 2023 hosted by Eastern Bus Enthusiasts

Vintage buses feature at the 2023 Fenland BusFest which took place in lovely spring sunshine at Whittlesey Market Place which ensured a good turn out for those who wished to enjoy a trip around the local area and a pub lunch. There were around 40 buses in attendance from Olympians, Bedfords to Bristols so plenty to chose from for a trip along the usual routes:- 320-Whitlesey-Yaxley 341 Whittlesey-Ramsey Rural Museum and classic car show 345-Whittlesey-Thorney (Rose & Crown) 350-Whittlesey-Turves (Three Horseshoes) 701-Whittlesey-Peterborough. These routes were designed to enable you to hop off and enjoy lunch at any one a number of delightful pubs along the way and at Ramsey there was the classic car show, Fen Fair and RuralMuseum to visit. So plenty of things to see and do. The action begins at Whittlesey to see some of the early trips departing. The action moves around the town with some of the buses arriving back at the bus station in Whittlesey. I had to leave early on the 701 back to Peterborough Bus Station where Southern National 934 can be seen. I think you will agree there was a fantastic selection of buses and coaches so thanks to all the owners and the organisers for their hard work in putting on this event.
