The SCHECTER PT STANDARD Telecaster is, on the one hand, a standard guitar, meaning it belongs to the Standard series of affordable Schecter guitars. On the other hand, it's a completely unconventional guitar, as this Telecaster has two humbucking pickups instead of two classic single-coil pickups. It also has a slightly different control layout and a modern body finish. Basically, if the names are analogous, then if Stratocasters have SuperStrats, then Telecasters should have SuperTeles. The guitar itself is made with a mahogany body and a burl top, a roasted maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and a hardtail bridge with string-through-body mounting for improved sustain.
