Building a Survey Software in Excel | Episode 3a | Distance (Length) Computation from Coordinates

Welcome to MasterEdge Academy! In Episode 3 of the Building a Survey Software in Excel series, we continue developing the backend of our Excel-based Survey Toolkit by implementing automatic distance (length) computation between consecutive survey points. Using Easting and Northing coordinates, we apply the distance formula to calculate the length of each plot boundary automatically. To make the software flexible, helper cells are used to identify the current point and the next point, allowing the toolkit to work with any number of coordinates entered by the user (up to 15 points).
