Watts, a neighborhood in South Los Angeles, has a rich history dating all the way back to the early days of Spanish and Mexican settlers. Back then, it was part of a huge ranch called Rancho La Tajuata, granted land in 1820. And like most of the ranches around, it was all about raising cattle and producing beef.
