[Anchor] YTN has exclusively obtained phone records of the late Jang Ja-yeon a few months before her death. The call records also include a number believed to belong to former Samsung Electronics advisor Lim Woo-jae. The Supreme Prosecutors' Office's fact-finding team, which is reinvestigating the Jang Ja-yeon case, has begun verifying the allegations. Traces of intensive contact with someone appear in June 2008, nine months before her death. 35 calls were made over a 12-day period, from the 6th to the 17th, with numbers ending in 7. 24 of these were voice calls and 11 text messages were exchanged. These calls lasted no longer than five minutes, with most lasting around a minute. The name of the contact stored on Jang Ja-yeon's phone is listed as "Lim Woo-jae." The Ministry of Justice's Truth and Reconciliation Commission's fact-finding team believes this person is the same person as former Samsung Electro-Mechanics advisor Lim Woo-jae and has requested confirmation from Lim's side. Indeed, two locations where former advisor Lim made calls were identified as base stations near the Suwon Samsung Electro-Mechanics headquarters. Lim, who served as an advisor at Samsung Electro-Mechanics, has been embroiled in a four-year divorce lawsuit with Hotel Shilla President Lee Boo-jin. The team is investigating Lim Woo-jae's side to determine the specific circumstances of his phone call with Jang and why the phone was registered under Lee Boo-jin's name. To this end, it is believed that in-person questioning is essential, including former advisor Lim Woo-jae, who spoke with Jang, and prosecutors who claim unaware of the call.
