Metro North & Amtrak Saturday Railfanning at Manitou. (Awesome Action)

Taken on June 4, 2022 Railfanning for 8 Hours & 30 Mins from 7:59 A.M. - 4:29 P.M. My first experience at Manitou will be a memorable one as for the small station, the quiet peaceful area & beautiful scenery is just part of it, I was also passing the time watching and interacting with the track workers who were removing & replacing the railroad crossing gates on the northbound platform. Really nice bunch, Even got ear plugs from them as a gift :) There was also track work south of the station near Peekskill on Track 1 (Northbound Track). Because of this, Track 2 (Southbound Track) was used by all trains going in both directions North & South. Even witness something I wasn't expecting while railfanning at Manitou; two rare things on Amtrak #233 as this train was led by P42DC #109 & trailing with the New York Central / Pullman Hickory Creek coaches. It's also been a while since the last time I railfan on the weekends as railfan usually on the weekdays. Enjoy.
