I then used a high-solids 2K CAR SYSTEM automotive clearcoat. It is resistant to chips, scratches, chemicals, and UV (FILLING METHOD). NEXT: A MANUAL SPRAY GUN AND HIGH-SOLIDS 2K MIPA CAR CLEARCOAT. RESISTANT TO CHIPS, SCRATCHES, CHEMICALS, AND UV. 2 COATS WITH A SPRAY GUN! Artline Crystal and Artline WOOD PRO EPOXY RESIN Technology 1. Apply Artline Crystal epoxy resin in a strictly 1.5 cm thick layer, otherwise it will boil. WOOD PRO UP TO 4 CM. 2. The Artline Crystal epoxy resin mixture has a curing life of 25-40 minutes at an average ambient temperature of +20°C. WOOD PRO LIFETIME: 6-8 HOURS (LIQUID TEXTURE AND COMPLETE DEGASSING) 3. Avoid: overheating the resin or introducing particles into the casting. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing epoxy resin and hardener. Artline Crystal is mixed at a weight ratio of 2 kg of resin to 1 kg of hardener. WOOD PRO RESIN PER HARDENER: 3 KG. 6. Prevent water from entering the casting container!!! 7. After casting, cover the casting mold to prevent insects, moisture, and dust particles from entering. 8. Life hack LIFE HACK - moving away from resin polishing - sand to 500 grit: use 100-grit sandpaper, then 320-grit, then 500-grit sandpaper, and then COAT with a good car varnish that's resistant to chips, scratches, chemicals, and UV rays. SAVE TIME, EFFORT, AND MONEY - NO NEED TO POLISH RESIN! I used 21.5 kg of resin. In the end, I got a STYLISH loft table made of yellow acacia wood and BLACK epoxy resin for the KITCHEN.
