Leicester Vaisakhi Celebration Procession 2026
Tens of Thousands of people have descended on Leicester’s streets on Sunday afternoon, April 26, to celebrate Vaikashi. Vaisakhi is the name of the festival which celebrates the first day of the second month in the Punjab calendar and marks the spring harvest season in Northern India.
