Aqua cells underway on Paakea Road in Waianae to prevent future flooding
The Hawaii Department of Transportation is working to install aqua cells on Paakea Road in Waianae to help mitigate future floods, following the March Kona Low storms. Crews will build tanks that will take in the water, which will eventually trickle down in its own time frame.
