The second installment of our adventures along the most dangerous Kolyma highway, a journey to the coldest inhabited place on the planet. We traveled along the Kolyma highway from Yakutsk to Magadan, visited Oymyakon – the Pole of Cold, Ust-Nera, Kadykchan, Susuman, Yagodny, Seymchan, Omsukchan, and reached the border of the Kamchatka region in the village of Evensk. The north, the cold, the road, and the people – all this is part of a larger route that could become a new tourist destination.
