Climbing to the summit of Gürle, Bayraktepe, had been a dream of ours for a long time. Last year, we almost made it, but the gendarmerie turned us back when we had only a short distance to go. This year, we set off again, but this time earlier, filled with both excitement and an unending longing for nature. At the end of a delightful and wonderful journey, we progressed, lost in nature. Accompanied by silence and strong winds, we climbed first to Gürle Tepe and then to the flag waving at the summit. The view upon reaching the summit was breathtaking; one would want to sit there for hours, conversing with the sky and the wind. But all good things must come to an end. When it was time to return, we departed on a different route, this time hitting the mountain roads near Güven Village.
