My mom has been a #vegan for over 30 #years and currently has two published #cookbooks. #healthy #living and #eating are very important. #canning, #fermenting and #dehydrating are the #methods of #preservation mostly used on the property. My moms goal is to set us all up for the #future. #offgrid is an option with the #solar #systems she has in place. We used to raise various #animals such as #goats, #chickens and #ducks, but it wasn't worth the #efforts so we #focus on #food from the #gardens. #green is the eay to go for #polution. Now instead of #chipping the #garden #waste she is stacking it up and letting it turn to #soil. No more #burning either. #life is good on the #homestead.
