Walus arrested hours after Hani’s assassination
10 March 2016 – Janusz Walus, one of Chris Hani’s killers, was arrested several hours after the SACP leader’s assassination on April 10, 1993. The Polish immigrant was sentenced to death, but this was later commuted to life imprisonment.
