Triumph Scrambler 400XC | When your X gets dressed up

Having just bought the Royal Enfield Bear and having considered the Triumph Scrambler 400XC, I was very keen to give the Scrambler a go. I loved the 400X but at the time of buying the Bear, the XC was not deliverable and I hadn’t wanted to wait. So what’s it like? The Triumph Scrambler 400 XC is powered by a 398cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 40 PS at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Key features include a 43mm upside-down fork with 150mm travel, a gas-charged monoshock with a remote reservoir, and 19-inch/17-inch spoke wheels with tubeless tires. It has a 6-speed gearbox, slip and assist clutch, switchable traction control, and off-road ABS.
