Harvesting Amaranth As A Grain
Last week I harvested my amaranth, far too late really but the rain has really stopped me doing this any earlier. I think if I had got the crop in earlier then it would have been ready a bit sooner and I would have beaten this wet autumn weather. It was my first year growing this crop so a bit of an experiment. I'll try growing it again and hopefully have more luck next time. This variety is a mixed grain one so grown for the seed. Let me know if you have any ideas on how to cook and use it!
