Pressure Vessel Introduction (un-Fired/non-fired)
In this video you will learn about pressure vessels and you will learn what fired and un-fired (non-fired) pressure vessels are. We look at some pressure vessel terminology such as the shell and dishes. The construction of the tank and weld lines etc. is mentioned. Pressure vessel appendages are discussed, this includes the manhole, feet, safety relief valve (SRV), Bourdon pressure gauge, fusible plug, differential pressure switch and condensate drain valve. Maintenance of pressure vessels is briefly mentioned and covers topics such as visual inspections, cleaning, testing and non-destructive testing (Non Destructive Testing (NDT). Testing to specific standards (ASME, TüV etc.) is discussed along with enclosed space entry. All 3D models used in the video are available at www.saVRee.com.
