Ep. 2: Cabrilla & Spotted Bass Catch & Cook! Tony Reyes

Tony Reyes Fishing Tours hold such a special place in my heart! Not only for the fishing, but the journey as well! The landscape and scenery we have the privilege of seeing, exploring, and fishing makes this adventure so special and a one of a kind experience! The food is phenomenal, including fresh caught fish of your choice. Yellowtail, Cabrilla, Triggerfish, Jacks, Amberjack, Grouper, etc! You name it, they can prepare it the second you are done fishing! In this video, I was able to check off not only a species I have always wanted to catch, being a Flag Cabrilla. I also, finally got to check off eating a fish I have always wanted to try, but could never bring myself to do so, being a Spotted Bay Bass. Eating a spotted bay bass is something I would never do in the states, but they live in a lot healthier water and are LITTERED all over the Sea of Cortez, so I did see this as a great opportunity to try one for the first time ever!
