How do we as practitioners understand our own relational capacity? In this PechaKucha presentation at the 7th International Conference on Practice Research (ICPR7) Singapore, we share the journey of developing and validating the Relational Capacity Scale—a practice-informed tool designed to assess the relational capacities of helpers/practitioners. Grounded in social work and restorative practice, the scale was developed through collaboration with practitioners and validated with professionals across the social service sector.
