We stayed at Warakusan, a hot spring inn in Oku-Kurokawa, Aso, Kumamoto! This inn only accommodates two people per room, and is basically adults only, so you can relax and enjoy a quiet stay. All rooms have a semi-open-air hot spring, so you can enjoy Kurokawa Onsen whenever you like, and there is also a cave-like hole bath and a spacious open-air bath, where you can relax in the wonderful hot spring with a slightly acidic milky white color and a sulphurous smell. For dinner, we had horse sashimi and Kumamoto red beef, and for breakfast, we had a delicious Western breakfast, which is unusual for a Japanese inn. Although it is limited to two people, it is basically adults only, so it is a quiet and relaxing inn.
